Celebrity Dancers

Stacy Bishop

Stacy Bishop is a mother of two teenagers and the daughter of Alan Bishop, owner of Mr. Alan’s! After working in the family business for 25 years and then selling the business, she found herself seeking to open a wellness center. Stacy is a Mindfulness Teacher, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Plant-Based Chef, and Educator. Essentially, an all around Health and Wellness Educator/Advocate!
Stacy is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Pontiac Farmers Market, a collective of wellness advocates and community health leaders that came together to help combat food insecurity and provide information on healthy lifestyle practices. Stacy met Lighthouse when she became interested in offering healthy living classes to Lighthouse clients!
As for Stacy’s reason for participating in the 13th annual Dancing with the Stars event?
“How could I say no to raising money and awareness for such a like-minded, wonderful organization and cause!”

Eric Fadie

Eric Fadie is a podcaster, as well as a local stand-up comedian and co-host of a weekly show called 2 Hippies 1 Drunk.  He first became associated with Lighthouse in 2017 while working on The Detroit Cast podcast. They hosted a charity drive for Lighthouse and raised more than any of them anticipated. He participated in Dancing with the Stars that same year. Eric is joining us again as a celebrity dancer this year because 1. He’s very competitive and 2. He feels a connection to everyone at Lighthouse.

“It really hit me how homelessness can effect anyone and how hard it can be to get out of it.  All the people I have interacted with at Lighthouse are so genuine in wanting to not just help these people but truly change their lives for good.”

Jennifer Lucarelli

Jennifer Lucarelli is joining us for the 13th annual Dancing with the Stars event. As a nutrition professor at Oakland University, Jennifer had worked with Lighthouse through the Healthy Pontiac, We Can! Coalition for over a decade, but when COVID-19 hit, she knew she wanted to do more to help. Jennifer contacted Lighthouse immediately and within a few days, helped us move the food distribution operations for Lighthouse over to the OU campus. Additionally, she helped us launch an innovative, volunteer-run home food delivery program that now feeds thousands of families every week!

We are so thankful for Jennifer’s leadership and support with our COVID-19 response and we are excited to see her perform at the event!
